all things inspired: the mission field.

Today I wanted to share with you three families that are either currently on the foreign mission field or planning to be there very soon. Brandon and I have been on three foreign mission trips, and I can say I left a piece of my heart there each time. These trips were eye opening, life changing, and God breathed. Praying that one day we as a family can share the gospel on foreign soil with those whom have never heard! In the meantime, I am excited about training our children to share God's word and love with those we meet right here in our own backyard.

The Goodfellow Family.

I do not know this family firsthand, but we randomly have a mutual friend, which is how I stumbled across their blog. Their blog tells of their journey as a family of six, living in California, to selling everything they own to move to Lima, Peru one year ago. The Goodfellow family is a part of Krochet Kids Peru, a program that empowers families in poverty and provides employment therein, all while sharing the gospel! The ladies of KKP make awesome hats to sell to benefit the program. To find out more about this family (or to purchase a hat in support of KKP!) visit their blog at goodfellowfamily.blogspot.com

Andy and Jenni Keller.

Andy and Jenni Keller are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary this year. How awesome is that? But, instead of going on a cruise like they had planned, God had different plans. The Kellers are going to South Africa with their church to minister to to HIV/AIDS orphans through the ministry of Horizon International. They leave at the end of March for 10 days. To help fund their trip, Jenni and my new friend, Aubrey, are making "t-shirt" scarves for purchase:

How adorable are these? I ordered a dark purple one and I LOVE it! To find out more about the Keller family, please visit hotfudgesundaelife.com

Jen McCombs.

There are tons of ways I could describe Jen, but I'll sum it up with the fact that she is awesome in a billion ways and inspires me daily ;) Jen has the opportunity to travel to Haiti with a medical team from Calvary Baptist Church in March. The team will be doing health screenings, first aid, and triaging at medical clinics in orphanages and schools, treating both children and adults. Jen's heart is geared toward Christ with every step she takes! To help support her journey, Jen, along with my fave band on the PLANET, Standing Small, will be performing at Remedy Coffee on Friday, February 3rd, at 8pm. I really wish we could attend!

Please remember these missionaries in your prayers!! May we all be more diligent in sharing the gospel with all nations!
