"Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow". James 1:17

"Why don't people say that I'm 'lucky', mama?" Eden asked as we returned home from the store today.
"Well", I replied, "because those who believe in luck think that good things just happen. But we know that they don't just happen, that God causes those things to happen! That is called a blessing. Can you name some blessings God has given you lately?"

"Sure!" she replied. "Like food, our house, clothes, toys, paper and colors, like---"

No matter the blessing, how big or small, remember to thank God, whom has given all!
