mama moments: fashion sense.

Last weekend, Eden saw a pair of jeans sitting in the front seat of the van. Confused, she picked them up and the following fashion consult began:

Eden: "Are these jeans mine or August's?"
Me: "Hmmm. I'm going to let you figure that out"...
Eden: "Well, they ARE a 5T, and that is what I wear, and there's pink on the sides, sooo, I think they are mine?"
Me: Yup!
Eden (sighing): "Good. You can never go wrong with pink".

Take note, fall 2012 fashionistas. Pink is the new black.

Haha! She's right. You can never go wrong with pink! :) I used to worry when I sent LittleGirl out in something she chose to wear. My fears were alleviated when I took a look around, and all the girls were wearing garish combinations of orange stripes / purple polka dots / pink swirls. To them, it's their favorite items and looks fabulous. We should probably take heed of that youthful insight. :)

Oh my yes. Never go wrong with pink. Or, in my girls' case tutus. the amount of tulle in our home is crazy!!

Larri and Aurie: Ahhh yes, when little girls dress themselves all sorts of crazy happens! But the end result is cute--albeit mismatched sometimes!
