The very first post of our "31 Days" series, I mentioned that our county typically does not garner "good news" from local news stations. Yesterday, we did. The Campbell County Sheriff's Office now has its first official search and rescue team!

The training was apparently really intense, and these men and women are now trained to find people who become lost in our very mountainous and wooded areas of East Tennessee.
The service men and women in our county work SO, SO hard. It is such a blessing that there has been some positive light shown on our county this week and that we are taking further steps to keep the residents of our county as safe as possible.
