31 Days of a Small Town Gal (Day 29): the tiny airport.

{Welcome to our October series, "31 Days of a Small Town Gal". You are on Day 29. Missed any previous posts? Click {here} to catch up!}

After everything that happened yesterday with my flight home, I thought I would take the kids to the "airport" here in town to see some of the smaller planes. And by "airport", I am referring to that large piece of asphalt behind the cemetery on Towe String Road:

The kids loved looking at the planes and dreaming up exciting destinations to visit someday. Eden has been saving the change in her piggy bank since she was three years old for a plane ticket. Excited to see where God takes her one day on a plane (hopefully!) larger than these.

 I flew out of our small town this weekend, and it actually made me miss it for the first time in a very long time. It is kind of nice to be in the comfort of our tiny town once again.
